“With you people it’s always ‘Out with the old, in with the new!’ You realize what goes into making a can of pineapple? The fruit is grown, harvested, sliced- and you just throw it away! How do you think the pineapple feels?” -Chungking Express (1994)

The Aquabats!
Monsters Wedding

Artistically, Gooble’s origin began with a song off of the Aquabats 1999 “Vs. The Floating Eye of Death” album called, “Monster’s Wedding” The song itself is a ghost story; not unlike Tim Burton’s 2005 film, The Corpse Bride. In the song, there is a foreboding ghost’s voice saying, “you must go”. That ghost’s name was Obakemon (which translates to “ghost-man” in Japanese).

My life has been very Gabba lately. DJ Lance dancin’, Muno dorkiness (like a man), creepy Foofa energy, Brobee bipolar disorder, and Plex malfunctioning for when I do not compute I shut down. No Toodee in my life though. She and I just don’t click. On the inside I am Gooble.  View high resolution
